Karen and I in Cedarburg, doing some plien air painting. Great clouds, nice barn, and a beautiful field for the foreground, so we set up.........almost immediately it began raining.......soft at first. I cant believe I didn't have my easel umbrella packed, so I painted fast....

sad day today......Penny, Emma's pet rat was put to sleep. she was getting very old and in the last few days was unable to walk, so it was time. Emma and January were sad, but as Emma pointed out "she is now with her sister Matilda, in heaven" .
